when life gives you lemons

Cat's finally out of the bag: I'm flying to Singapore in less than 12 hours! I'll be traveling with my mom, this time. I booked this travel for both of us three months ago and I only told her two days ago during her birthday. Boy, was she surprised. "Is this real?" she kept on asking. I gave her a set of placards I made which read: "I'm flying again soon, but before I go, I want to ask you to come fly with me." This one card above is my favorite. Together with the cards, was our flight itinerary.

We're leaving in 12 hours, like I said, and I haven't really packed. I  have been having a series of bad news since I woke up this morning, that at one part of the day I had no other choice but to succumb to faith/fate, whispering to the heavens for a miracle. But I see it now--this is the miracle. I worry, and I worry, but I'm still going on this trip. So long as I have my passport, plane ticket, and my camera, what else do I really need?

Absolutely nothing more.
